Padmashri Mohandada Ranade
Swami Vivekanand Jeevanjyot Sanstha – a charitable organization was founded in the year 2001 by Padmashri Mohan Ranade. After rendering service in Goa for many years, at the age of 70, Mr. Mohan Ranade settled in Pune and started ‘Swami Vivekanand Jeevanjyot Sanstha‘.
The main objective of the organization is to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged and weaker section of the society, women and to the deserving students and make them financially independent. The students are provided with financial assistance for managing institution/ college fees, books, other educational material, bus expenses, hostel fees, mess expenses etc.
The mission of Swami Vivekanand Jeevanjyot Sanstha is “Let me help my brothers!”. The organization started its work with the student’s welfare scheme. It began its work by providing financial aid to intelligent, bright, hard-working and deserving students who could not afford the education expenses.
